Rinse the head after use, opening or stripping it by the maker's method so it can be cleaned and dried. Keep the blade area controlled during removal.

Dry the head completely before storing the razor. Close or guard it as the maker directs and leave it in that protected state between uses, with no exposed working edge loose on the station.

Spare blades stay sealed and dry until they are fitted. Keep the packet identifying their blade system with the supply. At the next change, follow the holder instructions for opening and seating the replacement, rather than reusing a fitting sequence from a different razor.
