At 6.0", Ichiro Matte Black thinning scissors use a V-groove standard thinning format in left- and right-handed builds. The 440C stainless steel is hardened to 58–60 HRC, with a convex edge, offset handle and matte black finish.
Each close selects strands held by the toothed blade and leaves the rest, removing weight within the section while preserving the established outline. V-groove teeth change how hair is captured and released, so placement still decides the finish.
The chosen thinner arrives with a reusable cushioned box, care guide, maintenance cloth and tension key. Japanese tsubaki shear oil accompanies silicone finger inserts and a cleaning brush in the bonus maintenance kit.
